Old Macdonald’s Farm in Brentwood Essex is a superb venue for value for money family days out in Essex. Close to London this family attraction includes all your farm yard favourites plus more unusual and exotic animals such as the popular Meerkat family.
Our petting farm section allows you to get close to the animals in a safe and controlled way. We also have leisure attractions, indoor play and lots of fun all included in the entry fee. Old Macdonald’s Farm won the East of England Tourist Board Award for Excellence in 2008 for our green policies and practices, and here learning can be fun for families, for schools, and for community groups.
We offer birthday parties and special events all through the year at great value prices. We have a café on site or you can picnic in our countryside farm park. We are fully accessible for those with special needs and our staff are trained to ensure access for all.
At Christmas you can visit Santa here, and all through the year we have two of his reindeer for you to meet and stroke. Halloween is a special treat at the farm with our pumpkin throwing competition, and so for school holidays and weekend treats this is the best value fun day out for everyone.

* Group bookings prices are subject to VAT. To qualify for the group discounts we do ask that the party arrive in a coach/mini bus and not in individual vehicles.
Please let us know on arrival if there are any group members who will be arriving late and the numbers of children and adults present on arrival, as we have a NO REFUND POLICY.
Every paying child (2-15) will receive a wristband for the outdoor fun fair rides on admission. Children under 2 enter free of charge to the farm however will need to purchase a wristband to access the rides costing £3.00
PLEASE NOTE: No admission to the rides without a wristband.
